In the golden autumn of October, the millet fields are abundant and the corn planted in various parts of Heilongjiang have entered the harvest season.
On October 10, the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs appointed Wang Yunlong, director of the Provincial Agricultural Environment and Cultivated Land Protection Station, together with Yin Yibin, director of the Mudanjiang Agricultural Technology Extension Center, and agricultural experts from Ning'an City to conduct a yield measurement in the Ning'an City corn yield improvement demonstration area. The measurement result was 35,937 catties (wet grain) per hectare, nearly 10,000 catties more than the non-project area, setting a new high for Ning'an City's corn yield and achieving a historic breakthrough.

Farmers at the two yield measurement sites in Shiyan Minzhu and Bohai Liangjia said that the project has brought them benefits due to its technology, and they can achieve a net income of more than 10,000 yuan per hectare.
In addition to Ning'an City, Tailai County, Heilongjiang Province, has applied integrated water and fertilizer technology to tens of thousands of acres of dry fields, achieving significant results in improving fertilizer utilization and reducing production costs. The wide and narrow row configuration fully utilizes the edge effect of crops, increases ventilation and light transmission, and enables more complete photosynthesis of crops, achieving the group's production increase goals and achieving the effect of stabilizing and increasing grain crop yields.
Since their construction, the corn yield increase projects in the two places have received high attention from relevant departments: the Secretary of the Mudanjiang Municipal Party Committee, the Secretary of the Ning'an Municipal Party Committee and the Mayor, as well as a Russian visiting group, have successively visited the Ning'an Municipal Corn Yield Improvement Project Demonstration Site; Qiqihar Municipal Party Committee Secretary Shen Hongyu and city and district leaders visited the Tailai Corn Yield Improvement Project site.
